Child Safety Standards

Romeo Live is committed to keeping children safe. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards, prohibited conduct, reporting channels and enforcement.

Last Updated: January 2026

Zero tolerance

Any content or behaviour that sexualizes, abuses, exploits or endangers a child is strictly prohibited on Romeo Live. We remove it, permanently ban those responsible, preserve evidence, and report to law enforcement and the relevant child-protection authorities.

Our Commitment

Romeo Live complies with applicable child-safety laws and with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form across all features — profiles, live streams, video, audio, chat, comments, posts and usernames. These standards apply to every user, everywhere we operate.

Minimum Age

Romeo Live is an adults-only platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use Romeo Live. We do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to register, and we remove accounts we identify as belonging to underage users.

Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following are strictly forbidden and result in immediate action:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) — any image, video or representation that depicts a minor in a sexual manner.
  • Sexualization of minors — sexual comments, requests, role-play, or solicitation of sexual content involving anyone under 18.
  • Grooming & enticement — building a relationship with a minor to exploit or abuse them, or requesting/offering CSAM.
  • Sextortion — threatening or coercing a minor using sexual content.
  • Trafficking or endangerment — facilitating the trafficking, abuse or endangerment of a child.
  • Promoting, normalizing, or linking to any of the above on or off the platform.

How to Report

If you see content or behaviour that may harm a child, report it immediately. We review every report and act quickly.

In the app

  • Tap the “⋯” / Report button on a live stream, profile, post or message.
  • Select “Child safety / Sexualization of minors” as the reason and submit. You can also block the user from the same menu.

By email

For urgent or detailed reports, contact our child-safety team directly:

Report a child-safety concern
Please do not download, save, or share suspected CSAM — doing so may be illegal. Report it to us and, where you are able, to your local law-enforcement or national child-protection hotline. In an emergency where a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

What We Do About Violations

  • Remove the content and end any live stream involved immediately.
  • Ban the responsible account(s) permanently and block re-registration where possible.
  • Preserve relevant evidence in a secure, access-controlled manner.
  • Report CSAM and offenders to law enforcement and the appropriate child-protection authorities / hotlines (such as the NCMEC CyberTipline or equivalent in the relevant jurisdiction), in line with applicable law.
  • Cooperate fully with lawful requests from authorities investigating child exploitation.

Prevention & Moderation

We combine automated and human moderation to detect and act on violations. This includes real-time content analysis of live streams (see our Privacy Policy), reporting tools available throughout the app, age requirements at sign-up, and ongoing review of reported accounts. We continuously improve these measures.
